The human brain is incredibly powerful. Not even the world's most powerful supercomputer comes close. It's hard to fathom, but it houses upward of 100 billion neurons, each firing 10-50 times per second, at speeds of 150 meters per second. Or, one billion billion calculations per second. It is these electrical impulses that ignite, move, and shape our physiology, psychology, behaviors, and entire lives.
Interesting science right? But here's where it gets sticky.
It is the subconscious mind - and not the conscious mind - that holds the vast majority of this power, controlling 90 - 99.9 percent of everything that we think, feel, do - and even our physical health. Being subconscious, it does all of this autonomically, faster than our conscious mind could ever keep up with.
The blueprint of the subconscious mind is written into brain structures within the limbic system from the time we are in the womb to about the age of twelve. This "conditioning" of the subconscious mind is a conglomerate of the people who raised us, our culture, experiences, and our interpretation of these things.
In our teenage years, this blueprint becomes "hardwired." This can be a wonderful thing if you had an ideal childhood with exceptionally aware parents and altruistic cultural impressions. But for most of us, the program downloaded during childhood can get in the way of certain conscious dreams and desires, over and over again.
As an adult, it is still possible to expand the blueprint through learning and new experiences, but near impossible to delete or alter any part of it. Only highly emotionally charged life events such as a trauma, grief, or falling in love, can significantly change our subconscious programming as an adult.
For some, it is possible to use will power to alter the subconscious brain, but it takes a tremendous amount of focus, energy (glucose), and repetition that is usually unsustainable. This is because when we attempt to act or think against the conditioning of the subconscious, the lack of alignment creates a significant amount of stress in our system.
The message received is that something doesn't feel right, or that we just aren't strong enough to do it.
The subconscious mind is also not concerned with the quality of our lives. Its focus is on survival, procreation, and maintaining homeostasis. It seeks to create a world that is coherent with its program - causing one to experience more of what they've already experienced. It can even perceive behaviors, beliefs, and others that are not aligned with its reality as a threat.
This is why we so often fail to achieve meaningful goals, get in our own way, and live out similar patterns again and again to our frustration and even resignation. Patterns that continue to present in life are many times the enactment and reenactment of hard-wired subconscious beliefs. Traditional therapy modalities work with the conscious mind, which often fails because no matter how conscious we might be of a pattern, life depleting belief, or trauma, our subconscious mind is what's running the show. It's not anyone's fault, it's simply how the human brain has evolved.
This might all sound a bit depressing - especially if you're someone (like I was) who has tried numerous subconscious change techniques, without significant results.
But when I began Psych-k®, it blew everything else that I had ever experienced out of the water.
Psych-k® works by changing the program of our subconscious, allowing us to "debug" it by resolving trauma and deleting negative beliefs. From here, we can initiate new programs by installing beliefs and behaviors that are in alignment with our highest self, desires, and goals in life. In essence, Psych-k allows us to write our own subconscious program - to design a blueprint for a life that we want.
With the use of Psych-k®, we can install new beliefs, have new experiences based on our new beliefs, new beliefs based on those experiences, and rather quickly change the reality of our lives.
Psych-k® is simply the fastest, most powerful, and most effective modality I have ever experienced. After it transformed my inner world and life, I embarked on training to become facilitator. With my mind continually blown by what Psych-k® was doing for certain clients that had been stuck in long established holding patterns, I continued training to become a master level facilitator.
Psych-k Can Work Wonders For...
