Psych-k® and Trauma
I wanted to create a special page for anyone struggling with trauma, because it truly deserves its own attention. The picture above is of me. I'm crying in a meadow full of peonies. That's what trauma will do to you. It doesn't care if you're in love, on vacation in Europe, or in a meadow full of your favorite flowers, it's always there. I am also happy to report, that I'm now fully healed.
Traumatic events are experiences that are so highly charged with self-protective emotions (fear, grief, shock, etc.), that they continue to fire and re-fire in the brain and nervous system long after the event has passed. This can result in obsessive thoughts, flashbacks, hyper vigilance, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, heightened sensory perception, insomnia, anxiety, isolation, and dissociation. Clinically, this is often diagnosed as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Psych-k® can resolve trauma by prompting the brain to release the trapped memory. Using the processes in Psych-k® for trauma, the brain is allowed to fully digest the experience, releasing it from the nervous system once and for all. After the process, when the person is asked to think of the event, their brain is unable to "latch" onto the event in the same way, leaving them with a lasting sense of clarity, relaxation, and freedom.
Psych-k® is simply the fastest, most effective, and painless modality for healing trauma that I have ever encountered. When we go through Psych-k® advanced and master level trainings, we are always taught to under promise and over deliver. If you are suffering from PTSD, I obviously can't guarantee that it will work for you. However, I can say that to date, I have never seen it not work.
I know how excruciating, debilitating, and hard to treat PTSD can be. If you are suffering from a traumatic experience, please reach out. I have every hope that I can help.
