Hello! I'm Mika. I'm 38 years old, a neural rewiring coach, master Psych-k® facilitator. and part-time floral designer. Basically, I'm obsessed with flowers and brains. I'm also a cat mom, writer, NYU grad, horse enthusiast, intuitive, and former yoga and meditation teacher. I currently reside in Santa Monica, CA, but am in the process of relocating to the East Coast in search of snowy winters, space for horses, and a home to host workshops and grow flowers. I have been doing this work for about seven years now, and at the time of writing this, have helped over 300 people to reach health, life, relationship, and professional goals that were previously out of reach. My goal is to make healing and transformation a reality for as many as I can in my time here, so that you can in turn, offer your unique gifts and heart to the world. |
HOW I CAME TO DO THIS WORK
HOW I CAME TO DO THIS WORK
I grew up on the Columbia River Gorge in Washington State. The picture on my website is of my grandmother's meadow where I would find animals to befriend and pick strawberries as a child. It would become a place I would go to in my imagination during hard times, a place free of suffering and full of magic.
I eventually left Washington and attended NYU, graduating summa cum laude with degrees in creative writing and art history. After graduating, I took a job at a tech and finance company in NYC as their in-house Creative Projects Manager. About a year later, I fell extremely ill with a long list of disabling illnesses.
I began experimenting with subconscious brain changing modalities in my late twenties while on a quest to heal, after undergoing many treatment protocols in allopathic, functional, dietary, and energetic modalities that sometimes helped, but never truly healed me. I had already been practicing yoga, meditation, tapping, biofeedback, neurofeedback, hypnotherapy, prayer and positive thinking for years to no avail, but upon reading the "Biology of Belief" by Bruce Lipton, decided to lean into hope one last time.
Once I found the techniques that I now teach, I experienced what appeared to be a healing miracle. The excitement, mystery, and promise of this lead me to dive deeply into studying how the limbic brain and subconscious mind affect our health - as well as every single part of our lives.
News of my healing spread quickly and doctors and mental health practitioners began to refer patients to me, inspiring me to to create this business. Simultaneously, I began to pursue making my longtime love of flowers into a profession. While this business first began as a way to help people heal from chronic illnesses, in the last years, I've grown it encompass so much more.
My original work has been astonishing in its ability to heal certain physical ailments - such as fibromyalgia, chronic lyme, pain/inflammation, MCS, and cfsme. However, after years of attempting broader application, I had to admit that it was less impactful at treating things like addiction, trauma, ptsd, relationship dysfunction, disorganized attachment, empathy processing issues, grief, limiting beliefs, creativity, and peak performance - all concerns that old clients would come back to me for after they'd recovered their physical health.
I finally began to experiment with Psych-k®, and it not only transformed my life, but has been an unbelievable catalyst for my clients as well. Absolutely floored by how fast and effective it was, I embarked in training to become a master level Psych-k® facilitator. Simultaneously, I'd been working as a high-end floral designer in the PNW and Southern California. Meadow Healing came about by my desire to combine my two passions and to create a healing space that is as magical, fun, and beautiful as it is effective.
I do not claim to be a guru. I'm very transparent about my own healing journey and how this work has changed my life in ways that I never thought possible.
Thank you for reading! I'd love to hear from you. If you're curious at all, don't hesitate to reach out. It may just change your life.
